A large number of people and organisations have contributed to the Guild and its projects over the years since its formation. We thank them all for both large and small contributions! Without them, the Guild would not be able to do nearly as much as it has towards the preservation and encouragement of all things related to wooden boats.
Our sponsors are listed below. (All sponsors are shown, in random order.)
Lindisfarne Bay Marina
Norglass Paints and Speciality Finishes
Norglass Paints and Speciality Finishes has kindly sponsored the marine paints and finishes for our circa 1880 yacht Terra Linna during the restoration and since the re-launch in 2012. The Wooden Boat Guild of Tasmania Inc. has been very pleased with the durability and quality of finish afforded our historic yacht by Norglass Paints and Speciality Finishes. As such, the The Wooden Boat Guild of Tasmania Inc. recommends that our members support Norglass Paints and Speciality Finishes by purchasing their products when they require paint and finishes for their own boats.
Hobart City Council
The Guild acknowledges and appreciates the lease we have with the Hobart City Council allowing us to occupy the Mariners Cottages. The City of Hobart Community Development Grants Program also provided us with a grant to upgrade this website.
