The Mast split has been filled with Epoxy and the next step is either to reinforce the mast wrap the mast not.
As this section is where all of stays and halyards are is therefore under extreme stresses, especially laterally,
my question is should we proceed to Sikkens the mast all over? The epoxy repair will not be very visible from the deck.
If we then apply an epoxy / fibre cloth type bandage, will this stick to the Sikkens mast? I can find no info on this situation.
If we first apply the epoxy will we have a color matching problem as the Sikkens will be unable to penetrate instead.

Just a couple of thoughts.
