Although the mast has been re-stepped with a great deal of work and effort, there are a number of things left to complete before she can be sailed so lets not drop the ball just yet! But it has been a great effort, well done!

While the mast was out the mast step was refurbished preparation for mast returning. Peter did a great job of refurbishing the mast step before the coins were re positioned on the day

On Friday 10 July 2020 Terra Linna’s mast was reinstalled with the help of Anastasia.

The Mast split has been filled with Epoxy and the next step is either to reinforce the mast wrap the mast not.
As this section is where all of stays and halyards are is therefore under extreme stresses, especially laterally,
my question is should we proceed to Sikkens the mast all over? The epoxy repair will not be very visible from the…[Read more]

We also have the mast and other spars out of Terra Linna so Peter Dempsey and Bernard Chenery are leading the restoration and maintenance of this work with great assistance by Andrew Perkins (APCO engineering).
